MIchael Walker

 Growing up in a small farming community in Central California, it's safe to say that Michael Walker is more West Texas than West Hollywood. Playing in rock bands from the age of 15 and performing in well over 1,000 shows during his career, Michael's stage experience and knowledge made for an easy transition from rock n roll front man to country music artist. Tapping into his country roots and mixing it with what he learned playing in rock bands all those years, Michael developed his own brand of country music that he just calls California Country. When asked to describe it he likes to say “It's just rock n roll with a little twang and thang' mixed in". Having recorded his first album 'Californeck' in Nashville with members of Lee Brice's band, Michael's focus has shifted from recording to touring. With a set list that includes his own original country music as well as classic rock songs done 'country style', Michael is sure to shake up the country music scene with his unique California Country sound.
